ASHEBORO, N.C. — A N.C. Zoo visitor falsely reported that a child was left inside a locked vehicle Tuesday morning.

According to The Courier-Tribune, the unidentified caller thought they would get faster service to retrieve their keys from the locked vehicle if it was reported that a child was inside.
