High Point man accused of stabbing girlfriend multiple times
HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point man has been arrested after police say he stabbed his girlfriend multiple times Monday morning.
Police responded to a residence around 8 a.m. where they found a woman who had been stabbed several times.
Tendai Eva Masango claimed her boyfriend, Jesse Williams, unlawfully forced his way into her home on Barbee Avenue and assaulted her. Williams then fled the area and was arrested a short time later.
Both were injured in the assault.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover from her injuries. The suspect was treated and released for minor injuries.
Williams, 48, was charged with attempted first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
