It was a signature that changed our nation’s history.

Exactly 50 years ago today, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act.

The act outlawed discrimination based on race, religion or gender.

As you’ll see in this edition of the Buckley Report, as important as the law was, it was the work around it that really made the difference.
