Man robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man in Greensboro was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning while walking in Greensboro.

Police responded to North Elm Street around 4:40 a.m. where the victim said he was walking in Center City Park when two men approached him and demanded money.

The victim said they indicated they had a weapon and said they’d assault him if he didn’t give them his property.

The suspects then fled the area on foot. They got away with a unknown amount of the victim’s property.

There were no injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
