Thomasville man charged in connection with multiple armed robberies in High Point, Davidson Co.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A Thomasville man has been arrested following multiple armed robberies in the Triad this week.

Officers responded to the first armed robbery at It’s Fashion in High Point around 5:15 p.m. on June 24. Approximately 15 minutes later, police responded to a second armed robbery at the Family Dollar on Westchester Drive in High Point.

The next day, officials arrested Thomas Lee Moon III, 43, of Thomasville, suspected of an armed robbery at CVS in Davidson County.

After an investigation, police additionally named Moon as the suspect in the two High Point robberies.

Moon is charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm. He was placed under a $75,000 secured bond.
