Man caught on surveillance video stealing snakes from NC reptile store

GASTONIA, N.C. — Police in Gastonia are trying to track down the thieves who broke into a reptile store this weekend and stole several snakes.

Officers said that someone broke into the store on West Franklin Boulevard around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Surveillance video shows someone stealing several snakes and exotic animals,  including pythons. The reptiles are valued at $12,000.

Audio from that surveillance footage indicated that the thief was on the phone with someone as he stole the snakes.

    One thing’s for sure after watching the videos on the other news site…This guy is Mighty, Mighty comfortable around snakes!!!! Shouldn’t be all that difficult to apprehend, since MOST folks Aren’t!!!!

      Sure looks like some of the residents from Heritage House complex – BTW, how are things going for you at Heritage House now? …. All you scummy landlords got the City of Greensboro breathing down your necks. A “smart lawyer” like yourself should be able to weasel out of things. Are you sure the snake guys are not perhaps some of your tenants in one of those 5 apartments you “say” you own ? Never knew a lawyer of class to get on a public blog as much as you do !

        @ Jennifer – Perhaps you should go back and pull up the articles about Heritage House and look at your comments – Looks like the City of Greensboro is getting ready to implode your investment dreams …..
