ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A Burlington man has been charged in a string of vehicle break-ins dating back to early May.

Justin Brent Eastwood, 23, of 342 Spence St., was arrested in connection with multiple break-ins that happened in north and northwest Alamance County, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the investigation led to the arrests of two people on May 9 on charges related to some of these cases. A third person was charged with a felonious drug violation. These arrests occurred after the execution of a search warrant at Eastwood’s address.

Several items of reported or suspected stolen property were recovered during the course of that search.

Eastwood was charged with four counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, theft of a financial card, six counts of obtaining property by false pretense through the use of a stolen financial card, two counts of misdemeanor larceny and two counts of attempted breaking and entering of a coin-operated machine.

He was placed under a $58,700 secured bond.
