Pedestrian injured after being hit by vehicle in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street.

Police said 33-year-old Natasha Michelle Worthy of Greensboro was taken to Moses Cone Hospital with critical injuries after she was hit on Friday night.

The victim was walking south and crossing West Florida Street shortly before 10 p.m. when it happened, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. Police did not say if the driver will be charged.
