DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — State Highway Patrol and EMS responded to a fatal crash Thursday night near Wallburg.
The accident was reported around 10:30 p.m. at 1986 Wallburg-High Point Road. A truck was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed entering a curve. The vehicle ran off the road into a field, flipped, collided with a tree and then rolled to a stop against a house adjacent to the field.
A female passenger was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle and the male driver was ejected from the vehicle. The man who was ejected from the vehicle has died. The woman was transported to a local hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
Minimal damage to the house was reported.
Highway Patrol said they believe speed was a factor.

That is one of the main roads that i go thru, and i believe too many people i’ve seem zooming up and down that road. . isnt going 6Omph enough already? !
