Man robbed, assaulted by group of people in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was robbed and assaulted in Greensboro early Thursday morning.

Police responded around 4:14 a.m. and spoke to the victim who said he was walking on North Elam Avenue north of Walker Avenue when he was approached by several men.

The suspects assaulted him and stole his property before fleeing on foot.

The man was treated by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
