We're about two-and-a-half weeks from the Republican sixth district congressional primary runoff here in the Piedmont. On the last several Thursday nights we've focused on the candidates and where they stand on the issues.

Tonight, we're talking jobs and unemployment. The Buckley Report has what Phil Berger Jr. and Mark Walker intend to do to create more jobs and how much help they believe the unemployed need.

First, we will cut unemployment benefits and then cut the time period you can collect it, then just kick everyone off the rolls, and the unemployment numbers will look real good. Then cut them out of affordable healthcare and “no way” to medicaid, then raise taxes and fees and then we can say, “Mission Accomplished.” Please keep voting for us and our Christian values. Thank you.
