Tornadoes spotted on the ground near Indianapolis

PLAINFIELD, Ind. — Tornadoes were spotted on the ground in both Plainfield and Speedway, Ind., Tuesday afternoon, according to WXIN. Both towns are near Indianapolis.

WXIN reports that some roads are flooded and there is an unconfirmed report of three homes being destroyed.

Tornado warnings were issued Tuesday afternoon for areas west and southwest of Indianapolis, including parts of Hendricks, Morgan and Marion counties.
