YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. — Police have arrested a man in connection with numerous felony drug charges.
William Aubrey Voyles, 42, of Elkin, turned himself in and was arrested Monday after he learned officers were looking for him on outstanding drug warrants.
Voyles was charged with two counts of trafficking in opiates, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a drug dwelling.
Voyles was placed in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court June 25.
