Woman killed in Guilford Co. wreck identified
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Troopers with the N.C. Highway Patrol have released the identity of the woman killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Monday.
Ye Sein, 71, of Buffalo, N.Y., was killed when the Honda sedan she was a passenger in went off the road, according to the News & Record.
The wreck happened about 11:10 a.m. Monday on southbound Business Interstate 85, near Vickrey Chapel Road.
The driver of the car, Aie Luu, 30, of Raleigh, traveled off the right shoulder of the road, hit an embankment and rolled over several times. The sedan came to rest on the roof of the car.
Sein was not wearing her seatbelt and was killed at the scene of the wreck. She was sitting in the back seat behind Luu.
Knox said there will be no charges filed at this time.
Two other male passengers in the car were injured.
A 45-year-old man from New York City was taken to High Point Regional Medical Center for his injuries.
A 72-year-old man from Buffalo, N.Y., was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for his injuries.
Information on their conditions was not available.
The News & Record is reporting that Luu told troopers he drove off the road because someone came into his lane and he swerved to avoid the car.
