PHOENIX, Ariz. — A shooting at a Catholic church in Phoenix left one priest dead and another one in critical condition, authorities said early Thursday.

A 911 call came in about 9 p.m. Wednesday local time from the Mother of Mercy Mission Catholic Church, said Sgt. Steve Martos of the Phoenix Police Department.

One of the victims made the call about the attack, which Martos described as a burglary.

When police arrived, they found the two priests badly injured. One had gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital, Martos said.

The other priest is in critical condition, but authorities declined to say what kind of injuries he has.

A green 2003 Mazda Tribute stolen from the church property was later found with no one in it, he said.

There is no longer any recourse for crime in this Nation. IF someone is caught for a murder it takes years, not months or weeks, for them to be tried in a court of law. If they are found guilty by a jury of their peers and sentenced to death the minimum amount of time for the sentence to be imposed is more than 15 YEARS, if ever. If the killer is ever executed it is long after the victim’s family is dead and gone and long after anyone remembers anything about the case. Criminals live better than the average person in this society. Air conditioned prisons, better medical care than those that fought and died so we can live in a free society, better food and even better educations. Yes, they have access to all the latest educational opportunities and the highest priced legal advice paid for by the relatives of those they killed and the society they raped. Mental health advocates that blame it all on their parents and society who claim to rehabilitate them and plead for them to be released to kill and maim again. No one is responsible for their actions, it’s everyone else’s fault.
