Police identify man shot multiple times in head, stomach at Greensboro gas station

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times outside a gas station in Greensboro early Thursday morning.

Police responded to the Exxon on East Market Street around 2:26 a.m. where they found the victim with apparent gunshot wounds to his head and abdomen.

The victim was identified by police as 25-year-old Devon Feimster.

Greensboro Police say they believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between Feimster and two people he knew.

An incomplete description of the suspects was released. One of the suspects was described as having long dreadlocks that hang down half the length of his back.

Feimster was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officials say he is stable for now.

Police spoke with witnesses about the incident and the clerk at the gas station said he heard multiple gunshots early this morning.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
