GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman is safe after she escaped a house fire in Greensboro early Tuesday morning.

Officials responded to the call around 2:56 a.m. at 4104 Talmaga Lane.

The woman living at the home escaped safely with no injuries.

She told officials she was alerted to the fire when she was getting ready for work because she noticed issues with the power. She says her dog was also acting strange.

Officials say the house is damaged, but not a total loss.
