Suspects sought after Burlington man forced to floor during home invasion

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. -- Police are searching for two men in connection with a home invasion Sunday night in Burlington.

The burglary took place around 9:38 p.m. at a home on Lakeside Avenue.

The victim told police two men forced their way into the home, pointed a gun and demanded that he get down on the floor.

After firing a gunshot inside the home, the suspects fled on foot.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are investigating if any property was taken during the invasion.

Both suspects are in their 20s and had scarves covering their faces.
