Storms cause downed trees, power outages in Randolph Co.

RANDLEMAN, N.C -- Storms that moved through the Piedmont Monday evening caused downed trees and power outages in parts of Randolph County.

In Randleman, there were numerous reports of downed trees and power lines down. A tree fell across East Naomi Street blocking the roadway.

No injuries have been reported.

As of 11:30 p.m. Monday, more than 3,300 Randolph County residents are still without power.
