SALISBURY, N.C. — Police are looking for the man who terrorized customers and employees at a Salisbury Walgreens Sunday night and then escaped out the pharmacy drive-thru window.

WSOC reported that the suspect ran into the store on East Innes Street with a shotgun and forced those inside to lie on the ground at gunpoint, threatening to shoot if they did not comply.

He then demanded prescription pills, according to police.

Employees locked the doors so no one else could enter the store and customers were locked in a small room to keep them from the suspect.

The man then fled on foot.
