Man robs Wendy’s in Kernersville at gunpoint

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Police are searching for a man after a Wendy’s in Kernersville was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night.

According to a release, an armed man entered the restaurant on South Main Street around 11:51 p.m., pointed a gun and demanded money.

The business was closed, but several employees were inside closing up for the night. The gunman ordered them to the floor.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident.
