GREENVILLE, N.C. — A North Carolina man was arrested after authorities said heroin and crack cocaine were found hidden in his belly button during a traffic stop.
WNCT-TV reported that 35-year-old Randal Streeter is accused of trafficking drugs after being arrested last Thursday by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force.
The suspect was pulled over and the car he was driving was searched.
Streeter allegedly had crack cocaine and Percocet pills hidden in his belly button. He also allegedly had an additional 40 bags of heroin during the time of the traffic stop.
Undercover agents had previously bought 150 bags of heroin from the suspect and seized more than 340 bags of heroin during the course of the investigation. Officials said the cost of the heroin was about $6,800.
Authorities said the suspect had been selling large quantities of heroin from a local Econo Lodge.
He was placed in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1 million secured bond.
Marshall Wayne Wilson, 51, was a passenger during the traffic stop. He was charged with multiple heroin trafficking offenses and was held under a $75,000 security bond, officials said.
Authorities said Streeter may face prostitution charges in the future.
