RALEIGH, N.C. — Cisco announced Friday it will add about 550 jobs at its Research Triangle Park facility over the next four years.
According to WTVD, Governor Pat McCrory was present for the announcement and took a tour of the building, looking at some of the network technology the company produces.
Cisco was forced to cut five percent of its workforce last year.
Now, Cisco plans to hire people for various positions including finance, operations and advanced network services.
Salaries will vary, but will average almost $73,000.
