Armed man robs business in Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man armed with a hand gun robbed a business in Burlington Thursday night.

Police say the armed man walked into Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories on East Webb Avenue, pointed a gun at the employee at the register and demanded money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the area in a gold 1980s model Monte Carlo and was last seen traveling to Graham.

He was desrcibed as a black male, late 20s, 5’6″, 160 pounds with a goatee and short dreadlocks. The suspect was wearing green army cargo shorts and a red shirt during the incident.

No one was injured.

    Burlington is getting as bad as Greensboro. I guess all the street scum is migrating in that direction.
