Two Burlington men accused of beating man with brick

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police are looking for two Burlington men accused of beating a third man with a brick early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to 717 Askew St. around 2:25 a.m. where a 23-year-old man living at the home was found lying on the living room floor with cuts to his head and face.

The victim had been beaten with a brick inside the house by two people he knew, police said.

The suspects were identified as Quentin Beasley, 29, of 717 Askew St. and Detrick Beasley, 27, of 524 E. Sixth St.

Police have issued warrants for Quentin Beasley for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. A warrant was issued for Detrick Beasley for assault inflicting serious injury.

They were last seen fleeing on foot.

The victim was taken to Duke University Medical Center by EMS and currently in stable condition.
