Crowd-pleasing burger recipes for summer

How do you like your burger? Mustard, ketchup, cheese?

It’s burger season and FOX8’s Shannon Smith is at Bad Daddy’s in Winston-Salem, and ready with some tasty recipes.

Here are some favorite recipes perfect for summer:

Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids: Basic 7 ounce burger seasoned and topped with 3 pieces of jalapeno bacon, 3 pieces of applewood smoked bacon, Monterrey jack cheese, house made bacon mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on a brioche bun.

Daddy’s Nachos: A large portion of made to order seasoned tortilla chips with chili, black beans, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, red onions, jalapeno bacon, tomatoes, & black olives. Topped with queso, guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, and green onions.

Sam I Am: Basic 7 ounce burger topped with American cheese, Boars Head rosemary ham, house made pesto, and an over easy fried egg. Lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickle served on the side with a brioche bun.

Stella’s Greek Salad: Romaine lettuce, 6 ounce marinated and grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, onions, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, Feta cheese, radish, pepperoncini peppers, and chick peas tossed in our signature Greek lemon oregano vinaigrette dressing

Bad Ass Burger: A must get burger with an edgy name but it definitely lives up to the hype. A 10 ounce custom blend premium beef patty with lettuce, tomato, buttermilk fried bacon, horseradish mayonnaise, pickles, and homemade American cheese with a brioche bun.
