ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Five people in Rowan County have been arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses after deputies say the suspects sold prescription narcotics to undercover officers.

These sales occurred between December 2013 and March 2014, in various locations in Rowan County.

Bobby Edward Gouldman, 55, of 114 White Ave., Kannapolis, is charged with two counts of sell or deliver a controlled substance, two counts of possess with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance and two counts of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle. His bond was set at $10,000. During the sting operation Gouldman sold 80 dosage units of diazepam tablets, police say.

Glenda Gail Deese, 53, of 110 Arlene Avenue, Kannapolis, is charged with 10 counts of trafficking opium/heroin. Her bond was set at $250,000. During the investigation Deese sold 15 dosage units of oxycodone tablets and 38 hydrocodone tablets, police say.

Terrie Irene Vorrosso, 45, of 415 Union Heights Boulevard, Salisbury, is charged with one count of trafficking opium/heroin, one count of possess with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance and one count of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle. Her bond was set at $15,000. During the sting operation Vorrosso sold 52 dosage units of hydrocodone tablets to an undercover officer, police say.

Sandra Nicole Ellis, 27, of 906 Iredell Ave., Spencer, is charged with three counts of trafficking opium/heroin, three counts of possess with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance and three counts of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle. Her bond was set at $250,000. During the investigation Ellis sold 127 dosage units of hydrocodone to an undercover officer, police say.

Cindy Michelle Self, 40, of 1218 Edgefield Drive, Salisbury, is charged with one count of trafficking opium/heroin and one count of possess with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $50,000. During the course of the investigation Self sold 35 dosage units of oxycodone tablets to an undercover officer, police say.
