OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An Oklahoma City father is behind bars after allegedly attacking his daughter’s fiancé.

According to the police affidavit, 48-year-old James Littrell had an argument with his daughter before her fiancé arrived at the family’s home.

After a short fight, the girl’s fiancé left and Littrell began following him in a truck.

The victim stopped at a gas station and tried to take a picture of the truck’s tag number.

That’s when authorities say Littrell threw the truck in reverse and hit the victim.

The victim ended up holding onto the tailgate of the truck even as they began heading down S.E. 59th St.

The man suffered only minor injuries.

Littrell is now facing a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sounds like a very angry, unstable, unreasonable, and abusive man. I hope he’s a guest of the state for a long time.
