Robbery suspect attempts to add victim as friend on Facebook
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — A 28-year-old man suspected of robbing a woman at a ferry terminal in Washington friended the victim on Facebook the next day, according to The Kitsap Sun.
Authorities told the paper a woman was sitting at the Bremerton ferry terminal on Tuesday listening to music when she was struck on the head.
The alleged suspect, Riley Allen Mullins, grabbed her iPod and purse and fled on foot.
As the suspect fled, the victim noticed a triangle tattoo on the back of the suspect’s neck.
The next day, the woman apparently received a Facebook friend request and the profile image showed a man with a triangle tattoo on his neck.
Investigators later confirmed the Facebook account belonged to the suspect.
Mullins was charged Friday in Kitsap District Court with second-degree robbery.
