Drug raid yields arrest of 3 in Rural Hall
RURAL HALL, N.C. — Police have arrested three people in connection with multiple drug offenses as a result of a three-month undercover investigation at Woodbriar Apartments.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office executed multiple search warrants in the apartment complex resulting in the arrests of three individuals, and the seizure of 35.8 grams of crack cocaine, numerous hydrocodone pills and $3,171 in U.S. currency.
Joshua Anthony Speas, 30, of Rural Hall, was charged with felonious trafficking cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was confined in the Forsyth County Detention Center under a $120,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 13.
Timothy Alphonzo Spease, 30, of Rural Hall, was charged with felonious possession of cocaine, felonious possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 13.
Ramus Karnard Penn, 27, of Rural Hall, was charged with misdemeanor possession of schedule II (hydrocodone), misdemeanor maintaining a dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and felonious possession of stolen firearm. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 13.
