BB gun confiscated from student at Winston-Salem elementary school

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police confiscated a BB gun from a fourth-grader at a Winston-Salem elementary school Thursday morning.

School officials at Gibson Elementary were made aware of the gun after the fourth-grader showed it to other students.

No one was injured or threatened with the gun.

This incident is currently under investigation by the police department’s juvenile section of the Criminal Investigations Division.
