RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies have arrested an Asheboro man after officials said drugs and weapons were found at his home.

Dewayne Alfonso Rich, 33, was charged Thursday after deputies said they searched his home at 2146 Hoover Hill Road.

Authorities said they found more than a quarter pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, money and two firearms with ammunition.

The suspect’s charges include possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, selling and delivering marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.

The suspect was placed in the Randolph County Jail under a $176,000 secured bond.
