HICKORY, N.C. — An AMBER Alert has been canceled for a 9-year-old Hickory boy after police say he was found early Tuesday morning.
Officers say Ramon Garcia was abducted from a trailer park in Hickory just after 9 p.m. Monday.
Officials have not released any details about where the boy was found, but they say he is safe.
According to WSOC, police do not think a relative took the boy Monday, but that a group of strangers did.
Police say the boy was last seen at the Saint Stephens mobile home park in Hickory around 9:30 p.m. Monday. The boy was inside the trailer with his sister when his mother went to visit another trailer. When she came back, her son was gone, police say.
The only vehicle description officials have is a brown hatchback which had several people in it.
