Tractor-trailer fire reported in Davidson County

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Davidson County officials are investigating a tractor-trailer fire reported Sunday morning in Thomasville.

Officials said the Thomasville Fire Department responded to the scene shortly before 10 a.m. at 120 Transit Ave.

The parked truck that caught fire was unoccupied. No injuries were reported. It remains uncertain what caused the fire.

About 15 firefighters had the situation under control within about 13 minutes, according to authorities. The Davidson County fire marshal and Thomasville police are investigating.
