Memorial service to be held for slain Fort Bragg soldier Kelli Bordeaux
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fort Bragg has announced that a memorial service for slain soldier Kelli Bordeaux is set for next Wednesday, May 28.
Police found Bordeaux’s body earlier this month after she had been missing for two years.
Investigators say Bordeaux and Nicholas Holbert were at a bar together the night she disappeared.
The warrants state that the pair got into an argument in the parking lot and Holbert hit Bordeaux, knocking her unconscious and then hitting her several times until she was dead.
Holbert is charged in her murder.
The memorial service will take place May 28, at the All-American Chapel at Fort Bragg.
