THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A Thomasville man will keep a very impressive streak alive when he travels to Indianapolis to attend his 60th consecutive Indy 500 race.
For Dan Mcanally, this was a tradition that all started when he was 12 years old. He grew up in Indiana and his father used to take him to the 500 every year.
He and his wife, Pat, will once again drive the 1,098-mile round trip to attend one of the greatest racing experiences in the world.
This will be Pat’s 26th consecutive Indy 500.
This year’s Indy 500 will be held on Sunday, May 25.
