North Carolina is a great state for outdoor activities. You can find just about anything to do from the mountains to the coast.

The state features some excellent fishing. The great thing about fishing is that you don't really need a specific set of skills or amazing athletic ability to do it.

Recently, FOX8 Sports hit the water to find out what the draw is and why fishing is so popular in the Tar Heel state.

. You used to be able to fish almost anywhere and now everything beside the road is off limits . The only pace to fish is if you know someone with a pond or by going to a lake and paying to . When I was littel we used to fish all around Randolpoh County , just pull up get out of the car and walk down to the creek but now they have put a stop to all that . Where in SC you can fish anywhere you want too . The laws here need to be relaxed when it comes to fishing .

I absolutely agree and I’d like to see them have a sale on life time licenses too. They are way to expensive.
