Michael Greenberg, 43

PINEVILLE, N.C. — Police have arrested a man they said flashed himself to a mall employee at Carolina Place Mall last week.

Police said Michael Greenberg, 43, was arrested Thursday.

The female employee, who has worked at the mall for two years, texted her mom to tell her a man had exposed himself to her inside the Hollister store on May 7.

The 18-year-old employee said he asked her for sexual favors first. When she refused, he exposed himself to her.

The woman immediately went to the manager and called 911. She said she had seen the man in the store many times before, usually shopping with his mother. This time, he was alone.

A surveillance video of the man described as “extremely overweight,” was released by police last week.

Greenberg has been charged with indecent exposure.
