If you are pushing the panic button because bathing suit season is right around the corner, do not fret.

While you will not be able to look like a fitness model overnight, you can make your own body look its best with some very simple exercise and diet tips.

FOX8's Julie Grant went to The Rush Fitness Complex on Wendover Avenue Monday and spoke with certified personal trainer Lisa Grigley.

Julie learned fast and easy workout moves you can do in the privacy of your home, any time, and without any equipment needed.

As you get your body moving, there are simple adjustments you can make to your diet that will help you look better on the beach.

Grigley also stopped by the studio to give us her three best tips:

  • Decrease your sodium intake.
  • Increase your water intake.
  • Increase your protein intake.

If you would like to consult with Lisa Grigley on nutrition or book an appointment for training, you can call 336-544-0782.
