GREENSBORO, N.C. — USA Synchro and the Greensboro Coliseum Complex announced on Monday the Greensboro Aquatic Center has been named the host site for the 2015 U.S. Junior Olympic Synchronized Swimming Championships.

The event, formerly known as the U.S. Synchronized Swimming Age Group Championships, will take place June 26-July 4, 2015, and is expected to include 1,000 swimmers.

“USA Synchro truly enjoys having events at the Greensboro Aquatic Center,” said USA Synchro Executive Director Kevin Warner. “The facility is great from both the competitor and spectator points of view, and the staff is very accommodating. Our organization is looking forward to the return to Greensboro in 2015.”

The GAC has previously served as the site for the 2013 U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Championships and the U.S. Synchronized Swimming 2012 Olympic Team Trials.
