Maola to move some of its ‘fluid milk operations’ to High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Maola Milk will shift some of its “fluid milk operations” from New Bern to High Point, company officials confirmed on Thursday.

Maola will be closing its New Bern production plant and moving some operations to plants in High Point and Newport News, Va.

The shift in production is expected to begin on July 27.

It remains unclear if this will mean new jobs in High Point.

According to WNCT, nearly 100 employees in New Bern will lose their jobs.
