A line of heavy rain is moving across the Piedmont.
A total amount of rainfall could be up to two inches in the Triad.
The cold front should push through by midnight. Once it passes, the thunderstorm threat will diminish. However, rain showers may continue for a few more hours.
Friday skies will clear and temperatures will be a little cooler with highs in the low to mid 70s.
The weekend looks nice with temperatures remaining in the mid-70s through the dry weekend.
