Masked man armed with shotgun robs Comfort Inn in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man armed with a shotgun robbed at hotel in Greensboro at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the Comfort Inn on Lanada Road, just off Wendover, around 11:40 p.m. where the clerk had just been robbed.

The clerk told police that a man walked into the hotel, showed a shotgun and demanded money.  The clerk handed over a undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The suspect is described as a younger black man, 5 feet 10 inches, thin build and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a mask and a long sleeve green shirt.
