Three adults, one child injured in Union Co. plane crash

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Three adults and a child were taken to the hospital after a plane crashed in Union County Sunday afternoon.

All four suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WSOC that a small Cessna plane went down at the Charlotte National Golf Course near the Goose Creek Airport.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. only moments after take-off.

The Federal Aviation Agency is investigating the crash.
