Lexington teens accused of setting items on fire at Central Davidson HS
LEXINGTON, N.C. — Two teens were arrested and charged after deputies say they lit items on fire at Central Davidson High School in Lexington Friday afternoon.
Officers say the students, both 16-years-old, set paper and markers on fire with a lighter while they were in class.
The items were extinguished by students nearby and there was no permanent damage to the building.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Both teens were released on a custody release and are to appear in Lexington District Court on June 23.
