Mother of 9 going on 10 inspires others with her own soap company

WILKES COUNTY, N.C. — Corey Emmons is a mother, a teacher and the CEO of her own company.

With nine kids, and one on the way in June, this family in Wilkes County stays busy. And that’s the way they like it.

Emmons is inspiring other mothers this Mother’s Day as she shows that woman can have it all. She makes her own granola, home schools all of her kids, and now runs her own soap business.

Her natural soap and lotion line is a hit at the Wautaga County Farmer’s Market, 14 stores around the state and online.
