Mebane man assaults woman, threatens to ‘beat her brains in’

GRAHAM, N.C. — Police arrested a man last week on multiple offenses after he broke into a woman’s home and assaulted her.

Jerry Banks Chrisco, 40, of Mebane, was arrested on May 1 after he broke into a woman’s home, hit her and threatened to “beat [her] brains in,” the Times-News reported.

Chrisco was charged with felony breaking and/or entering, felony second-degree kidnapping, misdemeanor injury to personal property, misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor communicating threats and misdemeanor domestic violence protective order violation.

He was held under no bond.
