Northglenn, Colo. (KDVR) -- A small plane crashed into a house in Northglenn Friday afternoon but remarkably the pilot was not injured.
Firefighters said the crash happened just before 4 p.m. MST in the 11000 block of E. Livingston Dr.
The plane crashed into the roof of the two-story home upside down. It's tail and one wing could be seen sticking out.
A spokeswoman for the North Metro Fire Department said the pilot was able to walk away from the crash without injuries. She added no one was home when the crash happened.
Firefighters scrambled to contain a fuel leak and keep it from igniting a large fire.
Witnesses said the plane was carrying a banner behind it and was flying low to the ground. The witness said the plane appeared to be struggling to stay in the air.
