Two injured after gunshots fired at Asheboro home
ASHEBORO, N.C. – Police said two people were hospitalized after reports of multiple gunshots fired at an Asheboro home Saturday night.
Police said they responded to the shooting around 11 p.m. at 703 West Wainman Ave. and found two victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The victims were identified as Emilio Alston and Thomas Baldwin. Alston is in good condition, according to the hospital. There is no information available about Baldwin.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no word on suspects or a motive.
