TAMPA, Fla. -- So you think chivalry is dead? Don't say that to the guy who acts like a human chair.
It's one thing to give up your seat on a crowded bus or train, but it's another thing to become a human chair in a stuck elevator.
This photo shows 79-year-old Rita Young using 23-year-old Cesar Larios as a human chair.
Cesar was using the elevator to move a load for his company "College Hunks Hauling Junk", but this hunk ended up hauling more than junk when the elevator got stuck at Grand Court Senior Living in Tampa, Florida.
Rita began to panic, claustrophobic and unable to stand for the length of time it would take to be rescued.
"I told her to calm down and if she wanted to sit, she could sit on my back. She was kind of hesitant at first," recalls Cesar.
"I can hold you up to an hour, he said. I'm that strong," said Rita.
Just the memory makes Cesar smile. Rita sat on Cesar for about half an hour, until firefighters managed to open the door and saw this sight.
"I'd also like to thank his mother because she raised a really good boy," said Rita.
